Position Details: Staff Engineer/Sr. Staff Engineer – Synthesis/STA

Work on synthesis, formal verification (FV), static timing analysis(STA) of state-of-the-art SOCs at cutting edge FinFET technology nodes for various customers. 

This position is for a senior-level Synthesis/STA engineer who will work on  

• Synthesis, STA, FV/LEC, timing constraints development of a complex low-power & high-speed SOCs/cores

• Work hands-on to solve critical design and execution issues related to synthesis/STA/FV

• Own the synthesis, timing closure and sign-off methodologies and execution of SoCs/ cores/blocks

• Experience in RTL design, Synthesis, Formal verification, Low-power logic insertion using UPF, STA, timing closure & sign-off of SoC/Full-chip-level and/or high-speed cores like CPUs, GPUs and DSP cores 

• Experience in high-speed, low-power, mixed-signal SoC’s is a plus

• Preferably worked on TSMC 16nm/12nm/7nm or lower technology nodes 

• Experience in developing STA methodology/flow to and supporting a larger team

• Experience in synthesis & STA flows using UPF/CPF power intent 

• Experience in MCMM, OCV/AOCV, Timing-ECO generation methodologies

• Experience in developing SDC constraints and defining chip sign-off criterion

• Thorough understanding of test-mode constraints and DFT

• Good understanding of timing models, .libs, hierarchical budgeting flows

• EDA Tools: Cadence (Genus, Tempus, Conformal LEC, CLP), Synopsys (DC-U/DCT, Formality/VC-formal, PT-SI, VCLP), Dorado -Tweaker 

• BTech/MTech/PhD with 5-10 years’ experience in Synthesis/STA/FV 

• Proven track record with multiple successful final production tape-outs 

• Proven ability to independently deliver results in a very fast-moving startup environment, be able to work hands-on as and guide/help peers to deliver their tasks

• Be able to work under limited supervision and take complete accountability.
